Raymedica® Announces Appointment of Spine Surgeon John S. Thalgott, M.D. to Surgeon Advisory Board

MINNEAPOLIS, (October 24, 2007) — Raymedica, the Pioneer in Nucleus Arthroplasty announced today that noted orthopedic spine surgeon John S. Thalgott, M.D. has joined  their Surgeon Advisory Board.  Dr. Thalgott is Director of the Center for Diseases & Surgery of the Spine in Las Vegas, Nevada.

About Dr. Thalgott

John S. Thalgott, M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  He completed his residency at Barnes Hospital (St. Louis, MO) and the Los Angeles County Hospital.  Dr. Thalgott is fellowship-trained in trauma and deformity spinal surgery and focuses mostly on non-trauma cases in the lumbar and cervical spine.

In 1986 Dr. Thalgott founded the International Spinal Development & Research Foundation (ISD&RF), a non-profit research organization that focuses on the development of surgical techniques and trials to monitor new devices and technology.
